"El Paraiso" is a rustic getaway perched high on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Samana Bay. It offers private bungalow rooms perfect for couples with an array of nearby activities including: zip lining, whale watching, snorkeling, renowned beaches and more.

Built from local materials that blend with the surrounding ecosystem, it is a place where you can immerse yourself in nature, find tranquility and connect with your inner self and loved ones.

The space
Located on the edge of the cliff, this room has its own private Jacuzzi and a floating net where you can lie back to gaze at the stars or enjoy the views of the bay.

Your room is its own private entity and does not share walls with another room. Speaking of walls, it has no wall in the front, which provides a unique experience as it provides a spectacular view and a cool breeze all year round without affecting your privacy.

That said, there is no air conditioning in the room and it is equipped with a ceiling fan instead.

There are more rooms available at the lodge at varying price points. Search for "Casa El Paraiso, Las Galeras" in your search engine to find them and select the one that suits you.

The price includes:

- Dominican breakfast served daily at 8:00 am. Breakfast includes assorted tropical fruits, eggs and native dishes such as fried yucca, mangú (mashed plantains) or sweet potatoes.

- Daily cleaning service. Our staff will be available for service from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tipping staff will accept tips.

- The kitchen is available for our guests if they prefer to buy groceries nearby and cook their own food nearby. We also encourage our guests to bring their own bottles of alcohol at no additional charge.

Services at additional charge:

- If you prefer to stay for dinner, we can arrange for our professional Italian chef Mirko to cook for you the best food in town, ranging from USD $40 to $80 p/p.

- Please note that our selection of drinks and food is limited. On request, we can have a list of your favorites available.

Additional services can be paid in cash or through Airbnb. Credit cards are not accepted.

Amenities and common areas
All features of the home are available to guests, including the social common area, pool area, hot tub, poolside bar and lounge, outdoor dining patio and backyard.

During your stay
Upon arrival, one of the hosts will welcome you to give you a tour of the property, recommend activities and restaurants, and assist you in any way you need to ensure you have a unique and unforgettable stay.

Hosts will most likely stay near the property to make sure you are enjoying your stay and to ensure the safety of guests. Please feel free to ask for specific requests.

Private parking for two vehicles is available at the property.

You will find wifi with Starlink engine on the premises.

The house has few enclosed spaces and therefore is not considered safe for unsupervised children.

Samana Bay is home to Atlantic humpback whales that return each year from January to April and can be seen from the property.

NOTE: We are animal lovers and encourage guests to bring their dogs that can roam the property. Therefore, our home is not recommended for those who do not like dogs.
