Casa El Paraíso

An absolute dream! This place was nature mixed with luxury! The hosts were nice, and made us feel completely at home. Chef Mirko's dinner was UNBELIEVABLE!!! I cannot recommend this place enough..

Mirko was excellent about communication and very helpful with questions that arose during our stay. Plus, he is truly a magnificent chef, and the dinners he prepared for us were delicious. It was wonderful to wake up in the middle of the jungle on their hillside, overlooking the ocean, and then walk down for coffee in the dining area overlooking the small swimming pool. We enjoyed the three macaws, two cats, occasional dogs, and guinea fowl.

Room 8 was an amazing room, it was better than the pictures and the description online! We stayed there for 4 nights. Probably the best part was watching the sunrise over the samana Bay every morning in the private Jacuzzi and seeing whales right from the room. The net was great to lie on in the evening and watch the stars. We had Chef Mirko cook us a lobster dinner with Octopus to start. The meal was so good we had him cook us another dinner the next night, the tomahawk steak with shrimp. Both dinners were so good and worth the money.

What a magical getaway! We really enjoyed our stay here. Intimate space, tranquil and serene, and beautiful location. Chef Mirko and staff were also super helpful with recommendations and breakfast/dinner was delicious! Not too far from the town center of las galeras. Highly recommend!
